How To Launch Successful Revenue-Generating IT Non-Credit
and
Credit Programs - An Administrator's Guide for Development (one day)
with Box Lunch
Bellevue Community College has been an early adaptor and a national leader in
setting up revenue generating IT programs, which respond to workforce needs.
You will take away strategies and tactics to leverage multiple funding sources,
maximize lab logistics, gain ideas for attracting and retaining IT faculty,
learn about innovative faculty training and professional development opportunities,
discuss articulation agreements, and learn how to "make it happen".
Showcased credit programs include Network Support for both Microsoft and Cisco
certification, a Technical Support program which incorporates a student-run
Help Desk and A+ certification, a 100% Online Multimedia Program (AA and certificate),
IT Programming "vocational" degree that articulates and transfers
to the U of Washington Software Engineering program, curriculum based on IT
Skill Standards, etc.
Showcased continuing education program includes an innovative Fast Track workforce
education program.
You will receive a copy of a successful dislocated worker IT grant that maps
to industry certification for Microsoft and Cisco certifications. This Fast
Track program is easy to replicate, allows you to make over $1M per year in
revenue and yields very successful outcomes (100 dislocated workers, 100% placement,
100% wage recovery).
