Educator-to-Educator Institute
Dear Fellow Educator:

As a professional educator you are well aware of how import Information Technology (IT) is to the practice of education today. IT is changing the landscape of education faster than any other phenomenon has impacted education in our lifetime. Today's educator needs to be concerned with both understanding how technology works and the strategies for integrating IT technology into curriculum and classroom.

The Educator-to-Educator (E2E) Institute was launched on March 1st, 2000 to meet the IT professional development needs of all educators throughout the Pacific Northwest. The E2E Institute's mission is to provide IT professional development courses for educators that help bridge the gap between industry and education. The E2E Institute's professional development courses for faculty are offered throughout the year.

The secondary purpose of the E2E Institute is to build community and resources for IT educators and educators that use IT in the classroom. The E2E Institute begins this year with our first formal E2E Summer Institute. The E2E Summer Institute 2000 brings you a diversity of professional development courses in IT. No matter what your level of expertise, you will find a course in the E2E Summer Institute 2000 Catalog that will increase your effective use of Information Technology in the classroom and that you can share with your educational colleagues back at your school or campus.

Please take a look at the E2E Institute's Summer 2000 professional development course offerings in IT for today's educator listed below. We believe you will find a course that you will find interesting and will empower you to use Information Technology to leverage the learning experience in your classroom next year.

Please feel free to contact us at anytime with your professional development needs in IT, as well as any ideas, thoughts and projects you might have for the Educator-to-Educator Institute. Our contact information is listed below.

Sincerely yours,
Duncan G. Burgess
