Microsoft IT Institute Logo

Sponsored by Microsoft Corporation and the NWCET, this project provided faculty with knowledge and skills needed to develop and upgrade information technology (IT) education and training programs that respond to 21st century needs. A Microsoft grant awarded to Bellevue Community College allowed participants from each of the Washington State community colleges to receive intensive, leading-edge instruction in one of five areas: e-commerce, web development, network support, database development, and computer science transfer.

The E2E Institutes professional development courses for faculty are offered throughout the year. The E2E Institute when fully developed will deliver IT courses for educators via multiple delivery platforms including on-line and through regional E2E Institutes strategically located throughout the nation. The E2E Institute is part of Northwest Center for Emerging Technologies, which is located on Bellevue Community Colleges campus in Bellevue, Washington.
