Blackboard Support From WashingtonOnline

WashingtonOnline (WAOL) offers two levels of support for users of the IT Curriculum Development Toolkit.

  • All users, regardless of their location or teaching status, may take advantage of the full Blackboard environment for development purposes and, when feasible, export material to course sites outside of WAOL. For information and to get started, contact Jane McCarville, WAOL Online Faculty Training Coordinator.

  • Users who are currently teaching at any of the 34 Washington State Community and Technical Colleges may develop and deliver a course in Blackboard via the WAOL virtual campus.

To teach any course using the WAOL virtual campus, instructors are required to take the Blackboard Online Instructor Training. This course is free to anyone associated with the Washington Community and Technical Colleges system. For those outside the system, the cost is $400.

Register Early! This class fills up regularly! For information and to get started, contact Jane McCarville, WAOL Online Faculty Training Coordinator.
