Biography of Mich�le Royer

Mich�le Royer
PhD, Curriculum Development Specialist

Mich�le has worked with the NWCET for the last 3 years. She supported the Skill Standards development effort, and is currently involved in the curriculum design process. Her role is to research models and develop new templates for the design of competency-based curriculum, modules, activities and assessments that prepare students to perform effectively in industry environments. In collaboration with faculty, she developed outcomes, competencies, and sample activities for several IT 2-year and high school educational programs. She has facilitated several curriculum development workshops involving 2-year and high school faculty from a wide range of disciplines. She has also managed and facilitated several curriculum development projects at RATEC educational institutions. Mich�le has 10 years of corporate experience in the high technology industry as a Technology Consultant, Marketing Specialist, Manager of Research and Development, and Research Scientist. She has a Doctorate degree in Physics and an MBA.
