Overview

The NorthWest Center for Emerging Technologies is a National Science Foundation funded Advanced Technology Education Center. The mission of the NWCET is to stimulate and support the improvement of educational programs leading to careers in Information Technology (IT) and to disseminate exemplary practices. One of the Center's projects is to develop, in partnership with Harcourt College Publishers (HCP), a series of Online IT courses. These will be state-of-the-art courses utilizing Web technologies such as animations, simulations, streaming audio and video, interactive exercises and interactive labs. The courses are full content, stand-alone courses that will not rely on a textbook. The NWCET invites individuals to apply as Course Authors who can provide content for these courses.
