Teaching CyberCareers

  • Information Technology is the fastest growing career field in the United States today. In the year 2000, it is estimated that 1 in every 12 jobs in IT will go unfilled due to lack of skilled workers.

  • Your students are the people who will become the skilled IT workers of the future. But they need to know what these jobs look like, what it takes to get them and what IT jobs they might be interested in.

  • As an educator, you do not have to be an expert in the field of IT, but you can serve as a tech-savvy guide for facilitating students exploration and learning in this very important field that is guaranteed to impact their futures.
We provide a series of 6 learning modules that build in sequence from introductory material to asking students to develop their own IT careers educational presentation.
