Skill Standards |

NWCET has been a leader in developing
nationally recognized IT skills standards for
the past 10 years. Our standards
are used widely in education as a basis for curriculum
development, and in industry as a basis for job
descriptions and career pathways.
The current IT skills standards are available
in paper format as well as from a searchable
web database - the SmartSkills 2003 web site. |

NWCET has produced a 20 minute video, CyberCareers,
that covers various aspects of Information Technology education.
This video helps students choose a career in the field of IT.
It can be used in conjunction with a lesson plan and student

area of the CyberCareers section of this web site. |
