NWCET offers a wide range of products, many of which are available for download at no cost to educators. In addition, hard copies of several reports, including the 2007-08 IT Trends Assessment publication, are available and can be ordered through the BC bookstore.
     
  Skill Standards  
  NWCET has been a leader in developing nationally recognized IT skills standards for the past 10 years. Our standards are used widely in education as a basis for curriculum development, and in industry as a basis for job descriptions and career pathways. The current IT skills standards are available in paper format as well as from a searchable web database - the SmartSkills 2003 web site.

    Research Reports
    NWCET offers customized research reports that cover industry trends, educational programs, and best practices, as well as reports of general interest to our education and IT industry customers. The latest edition of the IT trends assessment authored and published by NWCET, titled Information Technology Trends Assessment, 2007-2008: Industry, The New Learner, and Implications for Education is now available. Copies may be ordered through the BC bookstore.

    CyberCareers Video  
    NWCET has produced a 20 minute video, CyberCareers, that covers various aspects of Information Technology education. This video helps students choose a career in the field of IT. It can be used in conjunction with a lesson plan and student worksheets available at no cost in the teaching tools area of the CyberCareers section of this web site.
