Sandra Mikolaski currently serves as Curriculum Project Manager for NWCET. Her responsibilities over the past 7 years include:

  1. Managing and facilitating curriculum projects, programs, and resources (including the work of internal and external partners and consultants)
  2. Providing consulting, faculty workshops, and presentations on outcomes-based curriculum, instruction, and assessment
  3. Researching, developing and publishing information technology skill standards and standards-based curriculum applications, frameworks, and tools
  4. Providing technical assistance, field support, and faculty development in the adaptation and implementation of teaching/learning strategies, models, and processes

Dr. Mikolaski also has 20+ years of interdisciplinary experience in classroom teaching, advising, and assessment; educational program and curriculum development; and faculty liaison work, with a strong emphasis in instruction and pedagogy. She continues to teach marketing and general business classes at Bellevue Community College on a part-time basis, as she has for the past 10 years.

Additionally, Dr. Mikolaski has 15 years of management and consulting experience in the software industry. Her primary focus within the technology industry has been the “soft issues” of implementation, user behavior, and organizational change. She has successfully applied this perspective to marketing, application design, documentation development, and user training/education.
