Certification
The NWCET has an active development project to develop practices for non-vendor specific certification in Information Technology. In partnership with The Chauncey Group International, we have reviewed assessment elements appropriate to skill standards-based curriculum and have collaborated with Chauncy in the development of the Associate Technology Specialist (ATS) vendor-neutral certification for Information Technology Professionals. The goal of the ATS is to provide certification guidelines for use by educational institutions who desire to offer programs that provide evidence of meeting nationally validated industry standards.
