  Currently working with Vista.
   
  Course Description:
  Windows 7 is next version of the Windows client operating system. Windows 7 builds on the modern foundation of Windows Vista, and companies deploying Windows Vista first will find that Windows 7 is highly compatible with their hardware, software, and tools. This Microsoft Windows 7 Install and Configuration course provides faculty with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 7. Install and Configuration topics to be covered include: Install & Configuration track includes networking and security, networking configuration, troubleshooting, installing 7, hardware requirements, deployment and overview of the Windows PE, and other Windows 7.
   
  Objectives:
 
  1. Understand the latest features such as Jump Lists and HomeGroup.
  2. Install and/or upgrade older Microsoft operating systems to Windows 7.
  3. Configure applications and systems used within Windows 7.
  4. Understand network connectivity.
  5. Understand mobile computing.
  6. Configure security settings.
  7. Troubleshoot post installation system settings.
