Course Description: |

Windows 7 is next version of the Windows client operating system. Windows 7 builds on the modern
foundation of Windows Vista, and companies deploying Windows Vista first will find that Windows 7 is
highly compatible with their hardware, software, and tools. This Microsoft Windows 7 Install and
Configuration course provides faculty with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure,
support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 7. Install and Configuration topics to be covered include:
Install & Configuration track includes networking and security, networking configuration, troubleshooting,
installing 7, hardware requirements, deployment and overview of the Windows PE, and other Windows 7. |

- Understand the latest features such as Jump Lists and HomeGroup.
- Install and/or upgrade older Microsoft operating systems to Windows 7.
- Configure applications and systems used within Windows 7.
- Understand network connectivity.
- Understand mobile computing.
- Configure security settings.
- Troubleshoot post installation system settings.
